Here is small video I put together so that I could explore a 24p workflow for my Canon HF10 (or the HF100). I also tried my hand at doing some grading and some blur effects. Let me know what you think!

Car Trouble from Ed Bortoni on Vimeo.

An epic family film…. OK… reality: I had a new HD camcorder (Canon hf10) and wanted to learn to use it and get some media to explore Final Cut Pro with.

My sisters were hanging out for the day so we recorded this with with 1 camera and over 70 takes! I’ve been tweaking it forever, but I think it’s time to call it done.

Trindle Park, Lawrenceville GA from Ed Bortoni on Vimeo.

First Vimeo video. Just exploring the HF10 and grading.

Spent a hour walking around the park with my wife and daughters. I think I could really benefit from taking my tripod next time, that or drink less coffee.

I really like the HF10, if you have good light, it captures great footage.

You can see it in HD at Vimeo.

Here’s a quick video I put together using iMovie. The clips are from different sources, so it looks a little jagged.
